About Steven

Steven Chiang is a prominent figure in the video game industry, known for his leadership roles at major gaming companies and his contributions to game development. He graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1993.

Chiang's career in gaming began when he co-founded Tiburon Entertainment in 1994. The company was later acquired by Electronic Arts (EA) in 1998, where Chiang continued to work in various leadership positions. At EA, he served as Senior Vice President and Group General Manager of EA Sports, overseeing the development of popular franchises.

In 2010, Chiang joined Zynga as Studio President, where he led free-to-play game development across multiple platforms.

In November 2015, Chiang was appointed Executive Vice President of Worldwide Production and Studios at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. In this position, he oversaw the development of games based on multiple franchises across all platforms, managing internal studios, external partnerships, quality assurance, and localization.

Most recently, in July 2021, Chiang became the President and Founder of Fortis Games. At Fortis, he focuses on building leadership culture and ensuring game delivery.

Throughout his career, Chiang has been credited on over 100 games, including major titles such as Mortal Kombat 11, Cyberpunk 2077, and Hogwarts Legacy. He has also served as a board member and advisor for several organizations, including The Topps Company, Virtuos, and Gamebasics.
